How can we help?

Most things are answered below. If not, email us — a real person reads every message.

AccountHow do I sign in or create an account?+

You don't have to. The first time you launch the game, an anonymous account is created automatically — no email or password required. Your progress is saved in the cloud under a random ID generated on your device.

If you want to back up your account or play across devices, go to Settings → Account and tap Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. We only receive your email and the display name your provider gives us.

AccountHow do I delete my account?+

Settings → Account → Delete account. This is available to everyone — including anonymous accounts created on first launch. It permanently removes your player profile, scores, gold, cosmetics, and friend links from our database.

You can also email robbi@bloxblastrush.com with your friend code if you'd rather we do it for you.

AccountMy progress disappeared. How do I get it back?+

Anonymous accounts are tied to your device — if you reinstall or wipe iCloud data, the link can break. To prevent this, sign in with Apple or Google as soon as you start playing.

If your progress is missing, email us with your friend code (visible on the Profile screen if it's still showing) and we'll do our best to recover it.

PurchasesMy coin pack didn't show up.+

Try the following:

1. Force-quit the app and reopen it. The game checks for unfinished purchases on every launch and credits them automatically.
2. Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi or cellular.

If it still hasn't landed after 10 minutes, email us with your transaction receipt (Apple emails one) and we'll grant the gold manually.

PurchasesHow do I get a refund?+

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we don't see your payment information. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the purchase, and request a refund. Apple's support team decides.

FriendsHow do I find my friend code?+

Tap your Profile on the start menu — your 6-character code is shown under your display name. Tap it to copy. You'll also see it on the Leaderboard → Add Friend sheet.

FriendsHow do I add a friend?+

Open the Leaderboard → tap Add Friend → paste their 6-character friend code. Once added, you'll see each other's best scores on the Friends tab of the leaderboard.

Note: you'll need to sign in with Apple or Google before you can add friends — anonymous accounts can't manage a friends list.

FriendsCan I remove a friend?+

Yes. Open the Leaderboard → Friends tab and use the remove option next to the person. They'll no longer see your scores and you won't see theirs.

GameplayHow do power-ups work?+

There are four, all bought in the Shop with gold:

Hammer (15g) — removes a single block you tap.
Bomb (40g) — clears a 3×3 area centered on the cell you tap.
Undo (50g) — rewinds your last placement (and any clears that came with it).
Lightning (150g) — instant zap on 10–20 random occupied cells.

Power-ups are inventory items: buy in bulk, carry into your next game. You can use up to 10 power-ups per game.

GameplayHow does scoring work?+

You score for every block placed, plus a much larger bonus for every line (row or column) cleared. Clearing multiple lines in one drop activates a combo multiplier — chaining combos across consecutive drops compounds the bonus. The biggest scores come from setting up multi-line clears, not from playing fast.

Your best ever score also drives your rank — Unranked → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Sapphire → Diamond → Master (Master unlocks at 200,000).

GameplayWhen does the game end?+

When none of the three pieces currently in your tray can fit anywhere on the 10×10 board. The game has no time pressure — you can take as long as you want on each move.

You can also revive from the game-over screen — see the rewards section below.

GameplayHow does Revive work?+

When you run out of moves, the game-over screen offers a Revive button that costs gold. Tap it and you're back in the run with a fresh tray of three pieces, your score intact.

Cost scales with how far you've climbed:

0–10,000 points: 50g
10,001–30,000: 200g
30,001–50,000: 500g
50,001+: 1,000g

You can revive as many times as you can afford — there's no per-game limit, just gold.

GameplayHow do I earn gold?+

Three ways:

1. Play games. You earn gold for clearing lines and ending games with a decent score.
2. Daily login bonus. Open the app on consecutive days for a streak that climbs from 50g (day 1) to 250g (day 9 and beyond).
3. Coin packs. Optional in-app purchase if you want to skip the grind.

Gold pays for cosmetics (block skins, board skins, scenes) and for power-ups in the shop.

RewardsWhat are rank rewards?+

Each rank tier hands you a unique cube skin you can equip on your blocks: Bronze, Silver, Gold Coin, Sapphire, Diamond, Master. Bronze unlocks the moment you hit Bronze 1; the others unlock at the top of their tier.

Rewards don't unlock automatically — open Stats → Rank Ladder, find your tier, and tap the gold REDEEM button. A celebration screen confirms the unlock and shows the new cube. After that, equip it from Shop → Skins → Blocks.

RewardsHow do achievements work?+

There are 20 achievements split across three difficulty tiers:

Easy (6) — early milestones like 100 lines cleared or a 5× combo
Medium (6) — mid-game targets, e.g. 500 games played, 10× combo
Hard (8) — endgame goals like a 250,000 single-game score or a 100-day streak

Open Stats → Achievements to see them all. The screen filters by difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard / All). When you hit a threshold, the card lights up green; tap to claim and your reward in gold is paid out instantly. Rewards range from 100g for the easiest milestone up to 2,500g for the hardest.

SettingsCan I turn off notifications?+

Yes. We send one local notification a day at 8pm on days you haven't opened the app, reminding you about your login streak. Nothing else.

To turn it off: Settings → Notifications → Daily streak reminder. You can also revoke at the iOS level via iOS Settings → Blox Blast Rush → Notifications.

The reminder is purely local — no server, no APNs, no tracking. The streak count baked into the alert is read from the device.

SettingsIs there a color-blind mode?+

Yes. Settings → Display → Color-blind mode adds a small white symbol to every block keyed to its hue (▲ red, ■ orange, ★ yellow, ◆ green, ● cyan, ⬡ blue, ☾ purple, ♥ pink). Adjacent hues stay distinguishable for red-green and blue-purple color-blindness.

SettingsDoes the app respect Reduce Motion?+

Yes. Toggle Settings → Display → Reduce motion on, and the game suppresses repeating animations: the rank-up celebration particles, daily-bonus pulse, redeem-overlay confetti, drifting menu blocks, and Master Throne neon overlay all stop. Score, gold, and one-shot transitions remain so the game still feels responsive.

PurchasesHow do I restore purchases?+

Open Settings → Account → Restore purchases. The app re-pulls your StoreKit receipts from Apple and credits any unfinished coin packs. If everything's already on file, you'll see "No purchases to restore. You're up to date." If something needed restoring, the toast tells you exactly how much gold landed.

PrivacyWhat data do you actually collect?+

An anonymous user ID, your display name, optional avatar, friend code, scores, gold balance, cosmetic ownership, and friendship links. That's it.

No location, no contacts, no third-party analytics in the current build. Full breakdown on the Privacy Policy.

PrivacyDo you share my data with anyone?+

Only with Google (Firebase, where your data is stored) and Apple (Sign in with Apple, Game Center, StoreKit). Both act as service providers on our behalf. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.

BugsThe game crashes or freezes.+

First, force-quit and relaunch. If it still happens, email us with your iOS version, device model, app version (shown at the bottom of Settings), and a description of what you were doing. The more specific, the faster we can fix it.

Note: we don't auto-collect crash reports. If you'd like to share one, tap Settings → Send Feedback, which composes an email with your device info pre-filled — you choose whether to send it.

BugsMy score didn't appear on the leaderboard.+

Check your network connection — score sync requires internet. The leaderboard usually updates within a minute. Pull to refresh on the leaderboard screen if it's stuck.

Still stuck?

Try these three steps before emailing — they fix about 80% of issues.

1

Force-quit & relaunch

Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone, find Blox Blast Rush, swipe up to close. Reopen.

2

Check your network

Scores, friends, and purchases sync over the internet. A weak connection is the most common reason something doesn't show up.

3

Update the app

Open the App Store, search Blox Blast Rush, install any pending update. We patch fast.
